Adam Andrusier is the owner of a wonderful collection of autographs and historical documents. What started as a teenage hobby rapidly developed into a successful online business as Adam travelled the world buying and selling autographs and advising collectors on authentication.
Much of Adam's business is conducted online and so Ideology was asked to create a distinctive e-commerce website and email newsletter to showcase the Andrusier collection. The idea was for the viewer to feel they were browsing through a beautiful catalogue of artworks rather than visiting an online shop.
The starting point was a complete overhaul of the brand image - the logo, typography and colours. Using items from Adam's collection as reference we came up with a cool sophisticated palette of monochromes, lifted with subtle colours to reflect the photographs and documents themselves.
These themes were carried through into all elements of the brand including the e-commerce website, with its clean contemporary feel and responsive page layouts
The overall effect – a site that is contemporary, sophisticated, beautiful ... and stands out from the crowd.
Congrats! Bravo on your site's presentation. I don't like websites that seem to "scream" at me. And I don't like sites that are so busy that I can't enjoy the information that I want to find. I like it very much.
